Sportswear is no longer confined to the gym or for a trip to your local market. For thoses who have not seen this trend in the malls or magizines yet, this is a predicted spring trend and that has appeared on many fashion runways such as Liz Calborne.

Sportswear started out as a fashion industry term describing informal and interchangeable separates in the 1920s. These clothes were intended to be easy to care for, in easily washable fabrics, and with accessible practical fastenings. 1930s designers such as Clare Potter and Claire McCardell were among the first American designers to gain name recognition through their innovative clothing designs. Since then sportswear fashion has been a intrigual part in fashion.

Details such as utility buckles, zippers, tank tops meshed tops, leather, hoods and racer backs adds deminsion and can make your outfit pop and look less like lounge wear but more like chic fashion. Will you be wearing sportwear fashions this season?

San Francisco once refered to as the Paris of the west is a landmark and attraction destination. Tightflavor has designed some amazing T shirts with various landmark and historical references to show their pride for this great city.Tightflavors’ history themed T shirts are good for history buffs and for those who just plain love the San Francisco bay area. You do not have to be a tourist to enjoy theses T’s. Original designs which are printed on soft, comfortable T’s with organic ink not only says that we care about the environment but also that you care by contributing to indie fashion.

Some facts about San Francisco:
- The city of San Francisco, California, and its development as a center of maritime trade, have been greatly influenced by its location at the entrance to one of the world’s best natural harbors.

- San Francisco is the name of both the city and the county, which share the same boundaries.

- The first Native Americans to settle this region found the bay to be a vast natural resource for hunting and gathering their provisions and for the establishment of many small villages.

- The California gold rush starting in 1848 led to a large boom in population, including considerable immigration. Between January 1848 and December 1849, the population of San Francisco increased from 1,000 to 25,000

Parachute pants originally called harem pants and made in India. Traditional harem pants were extremely large and baggy, with a very wide and full fit, …

Parachute pants originally called harem pants and made in India. Traditional harem pants were extremely large and baggy, with a very wide and full fit, they were very roomy, loose fitting, over-sized, puffy, spacious, with elastic in waist and at ankles. The modern parachute pants popularized in the 1980′s were worn by hip hop dancers since the style was loose it made a room for movement on the dance floor. Parachute pants were coined Hammer pants after the rappper, actor and entreperneur Mc hammer. He is known for his impecable dance moves in the 1980′s and 1990′s a hammer pants were a fashionable and trendy style of wear. As we all know fashion styles seem to recycle and yes the hammer pants are back. although some people may think that this style is dreadful and should not be worn, If worn correctly these pants can make a fierce outfit.

Style It
- Since these pants have elastic on the waist bands and ankles this can be worn with a fitted top tucked into the pants. This will flatter your figure and shows your curves. This outfit looks amazing with a pair of heels or sandles. (Adding a blazer or cardigan looks great too)

- wearing the parachute pants with a loose fitted cropped top is another way to style this item

Cat eye shades are trending this season for spring fashion wear.

Rompers, jump suits, or one pieces whatever you may call them; rompers are easy to wear and is a quick outfit that gives you feminine look. Rompers are great for the summer or those semi lazy days because all you have to do is accesorize then your ready to go. Wide brim hats, bangles, sandles, heels, blazers all look great with rompers.

Finding the right romper:

If you are tall and thin like Gwen Stefani you can wear the look in any color, pattern, shape and size. Wearing one with volume on top such as draping can enhance the look of your chest. One shoulder peices can also show off your thin side.

If you’re shorter like Kourtney Kardashian, wearing something with a higher waistline to enhance your legs and can make them appear longer. Wearing a fitted top and enhance your curves and create a nice silhouette.

When in doubt black is always a good choice: It’s slimming and sophisticated

As I was reading a fashion magazine the other day I came across an article that surpised me and caught my attention it was about mantyhose. Mantyhose are essentially breathable tights rather than nylons made to be worn under clothes to keep mem warm. Did you know that many men do wear pantyhose (tights in the UK) as a regular clothing item. The reason why is because they like too. They enjoy the support and warmth that nylons provide not including the fashionable look. According to upscale hosiery retailer Emilio Cavini, who tells WWD that purchases by men (and for men) now account for 2 to 3 percent of their annual sales. He has been selling a collection of unisex hosiery since 2009 and have found that mantyhose has a big following in the UK as well as USA.

Some other reasons to wear mantyhose:
- To stimulate circulation if working in a profession that requires them to sit all day, or conversely, if on their feet for extended periods of time.
- Compression can help reduce swelling and decrease the dangers of circulatory problems.
- To improve athletic performance, energize and revitalize tired, aching leg muscles
- For medical conditions like varicose veins, Raynaud’s phenomenon and lymphedema and deep vein thrombosis

Want to red more about mantyhose www.the nylongene.com has a blog dedicated to mantyhose.

This style can be worn as a with any blazer either in a dressed down or up style. The color gives your outfit demension and depth unlike the plain black blazer. A good thing about this look is that it can be worn to the office then after work for happy hour. By turing the seleves up to create a 3/4 length seleve makes the blazer a more casual look.

You can almost smell it, spring is just around the corner so its time to pack away your heavy overcoats and get ready for the warm sunshine. This season spring trends are filled with bright colors, flower prints and pastels. It is sure to uplift your mood and let your inner sunshine shine through. There are many ways to incorporate florals and flower prints into your personal style; here are a few examples.

Floral and More Floral
Floral mixed with floral may be a bit much for some but is daring and can look Fab if you find the right pieces. For example you can wear a pair of floral leggins and a floral top, pull the outfit together by wearing a neutral color shoe with matching acessories.
<img src="http://www.tightflavor.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/floral-pant-shirt-pic-152x188.jpg" alt="" title="floral pant t="188" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1014" />

Floral and Pastel
A simple way to incorporate floral into your style is to wear pastels. Most floral prints contain a least one pastel color, you can use this color to bring the outfit out by wearing pastels accordingly to match the outfit.

Color Blocking and Florals
pick two or three colors in your floral print and wear a color blocking pattern with your floral print, such as if your have a pair of floral shoes pick two colors that are in your shoes to wear as a color block. Wear a top and bottom that are two bold, bright and different colors. Acessorize by wearing a neutral color that is in the shoes.

Loafers, flats, and ballerina shoes are feminine and dressy enough for casual wear. Flats are styles of shoes that have no heel or very small heel and have been a part of fashion since the 16th century. During the midevil times as well as today flats were worn by both men and women. Wearing flats in fashionable colors such as this year pastels, lush materials or rich textures can liven up your outfit and have you looking chic. Even if a stone cold heel wearing woman, flats can still fit into your woredrobe. Flats can be fun and stylish if worn correctly.

Flat Shoe Style Tips
Pants and capris:
Flats look fabulous with capris and pants. If you wear pants make sure that they are taliored and fit well, you would not want to ruin your pants by dragging them on the ground not including looking a tad bit sloppy.

Skirts and dresses:
Wearing flats makes your legs appear shorter, so if you wear flats you can wear skirts above the knee to add more length to your leg.

Where to buy flats:
Bakers
Urban Outfitters
Steve Madden
Nine west
Mod cloth
